Lovemore FROM Taiwan Mask Review

Secretive has sent me a series of their new masks for reviewing so here I am trying my best to tempt you into more beauty. It's 1.55am now and I'm writing a review for you, how hard working I am.

 

Anyway, back to the masks, Lovemore FROM Taiwan Masks is made using 100% silk mask sheet This is my very first time encountering silk mask, I'm used to the idea of silk clothing but not silk mask. This Silk Masks are much much thinner than the mask I usually use and it also fits to face better.

 

The one special thing about this silk mask sheets is that they are so HUGE. They should be a great fit on a MAN's face. Don't believe me, pin your guy friend down onto a chair and stick on his face. When he ask what you are trying to do, just tell him Amanda instructed you to do it. :)

 

 

There are 4 different types of Lovemore From Taiwan Masks.

 

 

 First up, I have Pearl Barley & Milk Lovemore Mask with me.

It brightens and refines the skin regardless of age and gender with the results of fair and soft supple skin. I used this today and I'm really happy with it. If you sleep really late, this one is a great deal as it makes your skin "fat". Our skin also needs to be fed, I thought only man needs to be fed.

 

 

Next, I have Mountain Tea Lovemore Mask with me.

It helps vanish this irritating visible pores while giving your face a lift resulting in a flawless complexion. Sounds like what my mum needs.

 



 

With me again is Lovemore's Loofah & Aloe Vera mask.

It's helps to refresh your skin while repairing and refining your skin results in youth and bouncy mew born skin. Sounds good to you?

 



 

Lastly, I have with me Lovemore's Wine Yeast.

This mask reminds me of sake skincare, everyone should have already heard about what good rice and sake can do to our skin. In case you haven't heard, I'll explain it again here. Sake and rice water can preserve one's skin, keeping it youth just like the day you were born. This mask has all the goodness of Sake Skincare Treatment maybe better since it also moisturise.

 

This is how the mask looks when you open it up as you can see it's dripping of essence.

Remove the plastic layer first, then place the mask with the blue side up on. Finally, pill off the blue side leaving the silk mask on. It's more troublesome compared to normal mask but the effect is worth a little inconvenience.

 

 

That's how huge the mask is. Don't know why this makes reminds me of someone. We use to lay on my bed with masks on our face and talk about dreams. Mine came true but what about that person's?

I can't sleep tonight. I use to have a blog before this one but that one was for emoing. I pulled myself out of the negative end but at times I can't help being negative again. Negativeness is a constant battle within oneself, regrets are something we can't run away from but we can let go of them and live on. I have seen more than I want to see therefore I ran away in fear of the past but I learnt that one have to face all that comes knocking on her door be it people, love or death. Keep fighting because you know at the end of the day you will win. I will always be with you.

A trip down to Dr GL's Counter

Awhile back I was invited down to Dr Georgia Lee's Beauty Counter at The Center Point Robinson's for a special personal skin consultation. Karen was my skin consultant for the day, she did want to take any pictures so no pictures of her to show you. It's a new experience as it is one of my very first in my beauty blogging career.

 

What's special about this brand is that all products are prescribed, yeah I know I make skin care sound like medicine. That happen to be how this brand of skincare came about. Dr Lee thought that it will be good if skincare can be specially customised for each person and so she set about formulating customised skincare products for Asian skin types. Thereby, the brand Dr GL was born 2 years ago.

Just cleansers all alone there are 8 types.

I like the setup of the beauty counter, it gives you a forest vintage feeling. All products are packaged in green and are premium quality products.

 

 

You're my Sunshine!

Something special about their sunscreen is that it's a transparent old free gel. Interesting, right? Not your usual milky ones that make you sticky all over.

 

 

A couple of products in the Dr GL line have won awards from Women's Weekly and Her Beauty World.

 

The line also carries cosmetics. Foundation is one of the cosmetics they formulate.

 

They only came out with on shade for blusher, I'm waiting for more shades.

There's also pressed powders in 3 shades.

 Lipsticks in 4 shades. The effect of the lipsticks are more to coloured lip gloss, not so much of strong colours.

There's so many products and so I'm not going to bored you to death by introducing you to everyone of them. I'm just going to do a short write up on two of the products, one of which I love.

 

 

Dr GL Skin Repair

This is the product I love. It's a healing serum with anti-aging properties.

Why I love it is simple. Before I go to bed, I apply two drops of it. The next morning, when I wake up my skin has a Glow about it, look Younger and is Smoother. If the night before I slept late, let's say 4am, I can use Skin Repair as a Cheat and no one will think I have been up to whole night. It's good to keep handy if you're a night owl. Another side point is that it Speeds up the healing of Acne and pimples.

 

 

Dr GL Cleanser Lightening

I was prescribed with Lightening as I has some pimples around my forehead and a bit of scar there. Sad case... Karen thought that it will be good if I use lightening. Lightening Cleanser is for uneven skin tones with pigmentation. This cleanser wash very gently and also help repairs the skin. It has Vitamin C in it which helps cell regeneration. When using, it does not irritate my eyes and makes my skin refreshed after using it. It's not very foamy which is good for the skin as too much foam dries out our skin.

2B Mask for Face Review

A while back, I did a review on 2B Alternative Skirt Ready, the results were awesome for me.

Why You should try 2B Mask for Face

2B Alternative Mask for Face thins out chewing muscles to improve the jawline with out injections. It helps disolve away facial issues such as wrinkles, double chin and water retention. It is so much safer compare to bone grinding surgery but yet results are better then face bone grinding surgery. It can even be used on senstive skin, which happens to be my skin type.

The packaging is a rather simple one. The use of red and white is a balance of strength and pureness. I never said I don't judge a product by it's packaging, half the time I do judge it for it's out appearance. It's just like human believe that better looking people are nicer and have better character, which is most of the time wrong?

 

 

Triple the feel of [2B] Alternative MASK FOR FACE.

It's really easy to use as it's just like how you use a normal mask. Well, you don't slap it on in this case because it has a part for check, another pair of wings for the chin and lastly a pair of wings for jaw. You got to loop the wings behind your ear and it'll cling on tightly to your lower face. It's like a half mask. You can do your normal clay mask on top if you want.

 

Yes, it's a mask nothing more but it does miracles to your face.

It states to leave the mask on for 15 mins, erm erm, in my case I left it on for nearly an hour. Okay, call me crazy or whatever you can think of but believe me the amount of essence in the mask is dripping while I pull the mask out of it's packaging. If it's dripping how can my skin absorb half of what's on the mask in 15 mins.

There's another thing to take note, don't throw the packaging right after you pull the mask out. Leave it one side for later use because inside the packaging there is a lot of essence left behind. You can pour this onto your face later after your done with the mask.

 

 

Don't be frighten, I'm not going to start listing all the ingredients here.

Effectiveness

It's supper effective! You try it, you'll know it. I mask 2 times a week as directed by the instructions. Within those 4 weeks, many people ask me if I was on diet or sick. O.o I say no and ask them why, they say my face is a lot slimmer than before. The truth is I'm only using 2B Mask for Face, I didn't have to go on diet or get sick to lost those face fats.

 

There's one thing that you might not know face fat is the hardest face to lost, you can diet and loss all the fat in your whole body but many of the time your face stays the same, which is still a fat face. When that happens you will start blaming the whole world's diet tips because your only goal is to lose face fat. No one want to have a Diva body and when you turn your head over a fat face looks a that cute guy you're eyeing.

 

 In case your wondering, what's the shape of this Mask. I got you a picture to show you. It's a bit complicated to put on so you got to figure it out yourself.

 

The essence in the Mask is very light on the skin and very easily absorbed, doesn't feel sticky which is a good thing. It has instant effect on my face because right after I masked I feel that my face get smaller. Overall, I lost more than an inch in each check. I'm happy with the results. :D

I know I look like a joke here but never the less I dare to post this up for you to see how the mask looks like.  If you are afraid of scaring your lover, BF or other half out of their sleep, you can mask in the washroom with the door locked.
