New Brand Launch: Precieux Back Caviar Series

Precieux recently launched a new facial series, the Black Caviar series. Preciuex Black Caviar series contains 3 interesting products, a brightening facial peel, mask that does not need and age defying cream. Each of this products contains Black Caviar extract which is anti-aging while speeding up our skin natural collagen productions level.

Black Caviar Brightening Peeling has tiny bits in it that make the peeling cream feel like a facial scrub. The peel as contains Pineapple extract. Pineapple contains acidity which help remove the dead skin on the surface of our skin.

How to use:

First, I start by taking a generous amount and gently message it into my face in circular motions for a minute or two. (Make sure to wet your face before you start messaging it.) I wash off the remaining of the peel on my face and feel the difference.

I was surprised by how soft my face was after the peel. It not only looked brighter but definitely much much softer. I never knew my face could be that soft and bouncy. Before using the peel my skin felt lifeless and flat but after using it felt as though my skin has been given a 3D lift that brought it back to life.

Black Caviar Immediate Lifting Mask is rich cream mask which I find very interesting as it does not need to be washed off. It’s a leave on mask.  Immediate Lifting Mask contains Kigelia Africana Fruit Extract and Quillaja Saponaria Bark Extract which is extensive at lifting the face.

How to use:

I apply a very tiny layer of mask over my face and leave it on for the day. Be careful to apply a small amount only as the mask is very rich and you don’t want your face to be sticky the whole time.

Alternatively, I also tried using it as a wash off mask by applying a thick layer over my whole face and leaving it for about 30mins to dry. Finally, washing it off with warm water.

Both methods work to tighten the face but I found the second better as I have sensitive skin. By applying a thick layer leaving it to dry, then washing it off. Makes my skin feels lighter and more able to breath while at the same time tightening and smoothening out my skin. After use, my face feels tight and smooth.

How you want to use this mask depends greatly on your skin type and how it reacts to mask. For very dry skin, this mask is excellent as it is so rich that you will see your skin pump up and beautifully moisturised in one day.

 

Black Caviar Global Age Defying Care is an smooth anti-aging cream which has walnut seed extract in it. As the name suggest, Global Age Defying Care defying the normal skin aging process. It has many natural ingredients in it which all targets at defying aging, many of these ingredients are anti-oxidant and anti-bacterial. The colour of this cream is a mild nutty colour, it has a fruity nut smell which makes me feel at home.

 

 

 

How to use:

I apply a thin layer over the whole of my face after using the Immediate Lifting Mask. Right after applying my skin feel hydrated and fresher. As for the Age Defying part, we will see it after using it for a good amount of time.

Review: Olay Aquaction Moisturiser

Back with another skincare review.

This time run I will be reviewing Olay Aquaction Moisturiser as a Cozycot Round Table Blogger.

 

 

Olay recently released it new Aquaction Series.

One of the products featured includes the Aquaction Moisturizer which I am going to review.

 

Review:

Olay Aquaction Moisturizer is not your normal white rich and sticky face moisturizer.

Its light formulation makes the emulsion easy on the skin after application and leaves no grease or stickiness. I particularly love it light fragrance which reminds me or night sea breeze. It intensely nourishes my skin making it feel soft and dewy. I also love the fact that it is not the usual white cream moisturizer but a light blue emulsion which gives off a relaxing feel. All in all, this Moisturizer is quite long lasting. I would recommend for night use instead though as its light texture gives comfort and is not irritating.

Canmake Bye Bye Oil Stick

My Review:

Touch in Sol Lip Crayon is easy to use compared to all other lip sticks. In fact, I love lip crayons more than lip sticks. The colour pigment of this series of lip crayons create a deep impression on me and stays on after long hours. You won't need to touch up for hours, just apply it on and enjoy the evening. Eat and drink without bothering about your lips as lip crayon is made to stay.

One of the most fun ones, I played with or maybe its the people who made things magical.

Nip+Fab has a clear and blue concept that I really love. 

They gave a life set by step demo.

Feels like a million years ago

Product were placed out for us to play with. 

I love the smell of the entire range. It has a very refresh and memorable smell that I can never forget.

We were given 4 product to test out. 

 A short review on each of them by me below:

Nip+Fab Frown Fix

A quick and handy brush fix which smooths out frown line since I don't have frown lines I use it on laugh lines round my checks. It's really easy to apply thanks to the smooth brush applicator. 

Kiss goodbye to wrinkles.

Side note: Thick makeup enhance facial lines, applying frown fix before makeup solves everything in a swash. 

Nip+Fab Eye Fix

It works as a concealer also as a highlighter for the eye area. 

On my skin, it is pinkish. Has to be applied on before foundation or CC creams.

Handy if you want to use it to highlight you eye area or nose bridge .

Nip+Fab Sheer Makeup Fix

This one is my favorite product out of all 4 products.

It can be use a simple Primer to hold your makeup, by itself as a protection layer for your skin or it can be used on top of your makeup to fix it up and refresh it.

Super easy to use and light to carry around. It plumps up the skin in mins creating a youth and fresh look.

Nip+Fab Pigmentation Fix

It is said to improve and remove pigmentation after 6 months of use. 

I love the smell of this one as it reminds me of my childhood.

As for the pigmentation part, I won't say that it is awesome as 6months really is a long time but it works well as a moisturizer. If you are looking for a moisturizer with the pigment removing property, you can try this.

All in all Nip+Fab has given me satisfying experience.

My first experience with Vardi & Migdal

 I thought of sharing my first encounter with Vardi and Migdal at Jcube. It has been really interesting for me as things like this don't usually happen in Singapore.

 

Hugs aren't exchange between strangers in Singapore but I want to share something different today.

We are a cold bunch of people with tags on our head saying no touchie. We are missing some smile and warmth. YES, we are polite but not warm. We can't deny it as we are one of the unhappiest countries in the world. Ironic though as we are also one of the most well develop countries.

 

Okay, back to my experience.

 

Organic Bar Soap Samples

 

I first came into contact with this brand when it open an outlet a year back at Jcube. I so happened to be there that day and was offer a sample of their organic soap by one of their staff.

Till today I still remember her name, Liness.

 

She asked me if I would like to have a product demo, I accepted as I had the time and nothing to do while I waited for my friend. She did a Salt Scrub demonstration on my hand followed by a Dead Sea mud mask that aids in eczema and many other skin problems. Finally, she ended the whole demo by applying some great smelling Peach body butter that is mention in my previous review.

 

Here is the surprising part, sales people in this line can a bit pushy but Liness was not when she promoted her products to me. She even offered a 50% off for the mud mask as a special promotion as it is their opening day. When I didn't get any product from her, her face didn't change colour nor did she turn rude. She even offered to hug me and said that it was nice talking to me.

 

It was just a short 15mins encounter yet it made a difference to my view of Dead Sea brand.

 

 

 

Back to the present, here are the product pictures I nipped from their Facebook page.

The Sea Salt above is used as a bath salt, put 4 spoons of salt into a tub of hot steaming water and soak yourself in it for a relaxing moment. If you have a white elephant bath tub at home, it might be good to consider putting it to good use.

 

 

Lavender is a great remedy for a range of ailments ranging from insomnia and anxiety to depression and fatigue.

 

 

The garden relaxing feel this photos give makes me feel like curling up in a corner with a book.

Makes me think of food too.

Fresh and sweet. Green and clean.

 

This is the salt scrub that Liness use for her demonstration on my hand.

After using it, my hand felt smooth and new.

 

It smell really refreshing, just like sweet ripe pears. Winks!

 

 

 

After my first experience, I had a lot more encounter with Vardi & Migdal.

It works like a salt scrub.

 After showering, apply a good amount over palms and gently rub it all over your wet body, concentrating on areas which are rough and dry. Do this gently or you will feel like you are rubbing yourself against some rough surface. This process is to exfoliate the dead skin on our body so that new skin cells can surface and regenerate.

 

 

After all the rubbing and scrubbing, my skin feel fresh and clean. I felt like I just step out of the spa.  My skin feel nearly baby like, in a way to say, it is "new born" skin. (:

 

Did I mention that the scent of the Rainbow Salt Soufflé smell like a mix of the best candies one ever had as a child? It brings one back to her childhood thereby making one relaxed and refreshed.

The four layer of Salt Soufflé each has it's own unique scent. I am not going to tell you what they are, I will leave you to try it out for yourself.

At the end of the washing, scrubbing and whatsoever, is a TREAT!
Peach & Wild Flower Body Butter is that treat. When I first open this tube of thick ice cream buttery lotion, I fall in love with it. The scent combine with the thick texture is simply irresistible.

 

The body butter's moisturizing effect is able to last the whole day which really surprised me as most lotion will not last more than 4 hours. Another thing that amazed me was the scent of Peach & Wild Flower. The scent still lingered around late in the evening around 11pm, when I applied it early in the morning around 10am. That is about 12 hours, speaking about lasting a long day.
